Chiles are more than hot and spicy. These potent little peppers are good for you, too. And that includes your sex life.

You see, chilies contain capsaicin. It’s what gives chilies their kick. Capsaicin also boosts blood flow and stimulates the release of endorphins – the “feel-good” chemical associated with the so-called runner’s high… and orgasm.1

Just like men, women need increased blood flow to fully enjoy sex, so chilies give you a double boost. They’ll help put you in the mood… and help you enjoy yourself more.

Increased blood flow is a good reason to eat our second food, too.

Get More Blood Where You Need It

Watermelon is one of my favorite fruits. It has more antioxidant lycopene than tomatoes. It packs plenty of vitamin C, too. It’s also a sweet and tasty way to help you stick to a diet.

But watermelon is also loaded with an enzyme called citrulline. In fact, the word citrulline actually comes from the Latin term for watermelon.

Your body easily converts citrulline to arginine. And arginine raises your levels of nitric oxide (NO) – which relaxes your blood vessels and increases blood flow.

A couple of years ago, USDA scientists gave watermelon juice to a group of healthy adults. In just three weeks, the arginine levels in their blood rose by an amazing 22%.2

Of course, this shows that watermelon is good for more than better sex. It’s a terrific heart-health food, too.

A Romantic and Delicious Way to Increase Your Pleasure

The lights are low, the candles lit. Soft music plays in the background. Your lover uncorks a bottle of fine red wine and pours you a glass…

Sounds romantic, doesn’t it? Well, it’s also great for your sex life.

Researchers at Italy’s University of Florence recently discovered another property of wine. It boosts women’s sexuality two ways.

First, women who drank a moderate amount of red wine (1 – 2 glasses per day) experience greater desire than teetotalers or heavy drinkers. And, second, red wine improves lubrication where women need it the most.3

In fact, the researchers found that women who drank red wine moderately enjoyed better overall sexual function than either non-drinkers or heavy drinkers.

A Little Something for Everyone

Of course, anything that contributes to overall good health – for both women and men – can improve your enjoyment of sex. Dropping excess weight, increasing exercise, and getting plenty of the right nutrients will improve your life overall, too.

Wild-caught salmon for Omega-3’s, which your body uses to make sex hormones… grass-fed beef for B vitamins, essential for energy and nerve health… green peepers provide vitamin C for a strong heart… The list goes on.

But for a little boost in your sex life, these three foods are a great place to start.
