Here’s a few that really piqued my interest…

6. Break it Down: Acronyms are words formed by using the initials of a phrase or other groups of words – and they can come in quite handy as a memory aid too. Basically you take the first letter from a group of words and combine them to make a new word. For instance NFL (National Football League), LASER (Light Amplified by Stimulating Emission of Radiation), NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement).

Just remember though (no pun intended) – you need to remember the acronym itself and remember the words behind it as well.

7. Seek Professional Help: Memory improvement courses are available everywhere these days – everything from classes that try to tap into your photographic memory to speed reading courses. I highly recommend taking a class in your area – or if you prefer you could purchase a CD/DVD home study version.
