Three immortal words we may never hear again – at least by the man that made them famous.

I’m not sure if you’ve already heard or not, but Bob Barker of Price as Right fame announced his retirement after a brilliant 50 year television career.
Barker, 83, will film his final episode of the TPiR in June – making it the final chapter in a story book career that saw Bob reign as the king of day time TV with the longest running game show in television history.

But what impresses me most about this seemingly immortal man has nothing to with accolades, his famous pencil thin microphone or his ability to continue successfully as a television icon.

What really amazes me about Bob is that at 83 years of age, he’s still as active and involved as ever, and he doesn’t look a day older than he did when I first started watching TPiR some 25 years ago.

After all these years, he’s still as healthy, youthful and vigorous as ever – and that’s why I’m writing about it today.

Well after hearing about BB’s retirement I have to admit I was equally taken aback – but for a completely different reason this time.

It’s not that I was sad for Bob – it’s just that I had absolutely NO idea he was 83 years old!

Doesn’t it just make you a little bit curious how all of these manly men that managed to stay young looking, healthy, energetic and most importantly sexually active well into the later stages of their lives?

Well I was, so once again I dug in and did a bit of research and what I found was quite poignant to what I’ve been writing about these last few weeks. All these super manly men all have a few common traits.

Nothing special or magical about them – and these are traits we can all emulate. With a few very simple lifestyle modifications you can have vigorous sex, a successful career, and timeless good looks at ANY age just like Bob!

Join a Karate class, go out and throw a football or maybe you could even take your grandson to the range and fire off a few shots. Trust me it works!

Stay Involved

This one is huge, because as the old saying goes – A rolling stone gathers no moss. And the same can be said for men that stay active their entire lives.

So there you have it, Bob Barker’s secret’s to a long healthy life. I’m hoping by next week I’ll have uncovered the secret to picking up Playboy models! If I do I’ll be sure to pass that on to you.

But in the mean time at least we have a winning health plan to follow and proof that it works – so come on boys, let’s lock it up!! We owe it to our grandkids to be alive and kicking – not alive and sitting.

And in honor of Bob Barker’s retirement, I’d like to close today’s letter with Bob’s signature sign off. “Please help control the pet population. And have your pets spayed or neutered.”
