It’s Safe… Natural… And Busts Cholesterol Like Crazy Chances Are, Nobody’s Ever Told You About It

You hear a lot about high cholesterol these days. What with fast food… little time to work out… and a few extra pounds creeping up… it’s easy to see how your cholesterol levels could creep upwards.

Luckily, it’s also easy to encourage healthy cholesterol levels. One of the most effective is with a natural plant compound.

Remarkably, it’s closely related to cholesterol… but its effect is very different. Studies show it promotes healthy cholesterol levels. Without side effects.

Sounds great, right? It is. But you probably won’t hear about this compound if your cholesterol is high. Even though it’s cheap, natural, and safe. Or maybe because it’s cheap, natural, and safe. So nobody can get rich selling it.

Whatever the reason, it could be exactly the cholesterol solution you’re seeking. Or, at least, part of it.

Here’s the truth about cholesterol… the natural secret that could help end your cholesterol worries for good… and the reason it’s a key ingredient of our cholesterol formula, Cholest 9.

The Truth About Cholesterol

To begin with, cholesterol isn’t some terrible poison. It’s absolutely essential for good health. Here are just a few important functions cholesterol plays in your body…

  • Cholesterol is an important building block of cell membranes. It adds stiffness and strength to the outer “shell” of cells. It’s especially important to the health of nerve cells.
  • You need cholesterol to make key hormones, such as testosterone, estrogen, and cortisol. It’s also the foundation of bile acids – which aid in the digestion of fats and fat-soluble vitamins.
  • Sun exposure is your #1 source of vitamin D. Cholesterol is the “main ingredient” in this process.

Of course, you can have too much of a good thing. That’s where cholesterol can cause trouble. But it’s not as simple as just having “high cholesterol.”

When It Comes to Cholesterol, Balance Is Key

Your doctor may have talked to you about cholesterol. Most doctors keep these chats pretty simple. LDL cholesterol is “bad.” HDL is “good.” And you have to keep your total cholesterol down.

This is great as far as it goes. But it’s not the whole story. Here’s what you rarely hear…

LDL stands for “low-density lipoprotein.” It’s a carrier molecule made up of a fat and a protein. LDL carries cholesterol from your liver to other parts of your body. HDL – the H is for “high” – moves extra LDL back to your liver to be broken down.

When this process is in balance, your arteries stay clear. But if you have too much LDL – or too little HDL, trouble starts.

That extra LDL in your blood may be attacked by free radicals. This oxidized LDL is very “sticky,” and can build up on artery walls. That’s when a healthy molecule – cholesterol – becomes unhealthy.

Luckily, you have a potent ally to help encourage healthy cholesterol levels. It’s called Beta-Sitosterol – or Beta-S – and it’s found naturally in plants.

Encourage Healthy Cholesterol Numbers Naturally

Way back in 1999, Dutch scientists compared butter, margarine, and 3 spreads they fortified with sterols like Beta-S. They split 100 volunteers into five groups.

Over four 3-1/2 week periods, each group tested 4 of the 5 spreads. The doctors measured their cholesterol levels before and after each 3-1/2-week stage. Here’s where it gets interesting.

Some of the volunteers had “normal” cholesterol levels. Others had slightly high cholesterol. None of these people made any changes, other than adding the spreads to their diet.

But all of them saw a significant drop – up to 9.9% – in their cholesterol levels. Even better, their LDL-to-HDL ratio went down. In other words, their levels of potential “extra” LDL were lower.1

Australian scientists tried a similar experiment in 2003. This time, though, they added sterols to bread, cereal, yogurt, and milk.

Volunteers with slightly high cholesterol tested each product in one of four 3-week periods. Before-and-after measurements showed all the fortified foods worked. But fortified milk was the clear winner, with an 8.7% drop in total cholesterol. And a whopping 15.9% average drop in LDL.2

Safe, natural, and effective. What could be better? And if scientists have known about these sterols since the late 1990s, why aren’t doctors using them more?

Good questions. But before we answer them, here’s another surprise… In the late 1990s, we’d already known about sterols and cholesterol for 50 years!

The Most Potent Cholesterol Secret Nobody Told You About

You may have heard of the journal Circulation. It’s published by the American Heart Association. And it carries a lot of weight in the medical world.

In August of 1954, Circulation published a study using Beta-S. Doctors gave 9 men Beta-S. The men were allowed to eat as normal, with no restrictions. All of them saw a drop in total cholesterol. None of the volunteers suffered any side effects.3

A 1982 study really put Beta-S to the test.

Doctors gave a group of volunteers either a plain scrambled egg breakfast or one with 500 mg of added cholesterol. (That’s almost as much cholesterol as in 3 eggs.) Adding Beta-S to this meal cut absorption of cholesterol by 42%.4

Scientists have conducted several other studies – mostly in Europe. And reviews of these studies find that Beta-S and related sterols are both safe and effective.5

As I mentioned earlier, Beta-S is cheap, safe, and effective. To make it even more effective, we combined it with other natural ingredients in Cholest 9. The result?

Possibly the Most Effective Cholesterol Formula Ever

When you compare effectiveness and safety, Beta-S is one of the biggest cholesterol breakthroughs science has ever made. Here’s another one…

Green tea extract.

You may have heard tea contains plenty of antioxidants. It does. But natural substances in tea – called catechins – also have a healthy effect on cholesterol levels.

In 2011, scientists in Beijing reviewed 14 studies on green tea. They found…

  • People taking green tea extracts consistently see drops in both LDL and total cholesterol.
  • Green tea extracts have almost no effect on “good” HDL levels. Which means it promotes a healthy LDL/HDL ratio.
  • Just drinking more green tea is enough to see some benefit.6

As you can imagine, this makes green tea extract a perfect compliment to Beta-S… and a second important ingredient in our Cholest 9 formula.

But there’s another reason to include green tea extract. It’s linked to overall heart health in several ways.

For example, Japanese doctors reported on one study in the journal Obesity.

The doctors split 240 overweight volunteers into two groups. One group took a small amount of green tea extract during the study. The other group took about 6 times as much every day. The volunteers ate and exercised as they had before the study.

At the end of the study, the high level group had lost more weight and more fat… shrank more in waist and hip size… had a bigger drop in blood pressure… and saw their LDL levels go down more.

All that in just 12 weeks. And… there were no side effects.7

And these are just two of the 10 potent cholesterol fighters in Cholest 9.

Get More Than Complete Cholesterol Support

We’ve combined the best of the familiar and exotic cholesterol busters to create the unique formula in Cholest 9.

Well-known heart health champs like Hawthorn, oat bran, and garlic concentrate. Plus less familiar cholesterol busters like inositol, guggul, and policosanol. We’ve added chromium, shown to encourage healthy levels of blood sugar, insulin, blood fats, and cholesterol.8

The ingredients in Cholest 9 delivers unparalleled support for healthy cholesterol levels. Plus you get the bonus of other heart-health benefits…

For example, garlic is linked to healthy blood pressure levels, more flexible arteries, and lower levels of systemic irritation, which can lead to heart trouble.

And guggul – an ancient herb from India – appears to promote higher levels of antioxidants in heart tissue… as well as discourage high cholesterol.

This isn’t just complete cholesterol support… it’s more than complete. And who couldn’t use a little more “health insurance” for their heart?

Even better, the good news just goes on.
